I am confident that part of my purpose in life is to inspire and encourage people to identify, cultivate, and share their spiritual gifts and personal talents. I recognize that God has placed people throughout my life's journey to guide my growth in that area. Mr. Whetsal helped me realize my potential to help people when I approached him in the 4th grade about "what he does" as a school counselor. Mrs. Stewart inspired confidence; Mrs. Perseseppe motivated my love for music; Bro. Par cultivated my musical gift; Traci Currie taught me how to use words, tone, and gestures to create illustrations that could change people's lives.

As I continue my journey, I encourage you to start or stay steadfast on yours. Don't let anything stop or discourage you from being a force of positive change for those who come in contact with you. Don't let your fears, your haters, your weariness, or your lack of resources stop you. All it takes is one word, one note, one movement, one picture to be an inspiration. Please come out on Friday, July 10th to support me and other artistic ministers as we share our God-given talent. You may be inspired.
