MGC Scholars Hit the Runway!
Two of our young ladies used their Find Your Voice fashion projects to earn time on the runway this past Saturday. Audrianna and Latasha were highlighted as up and coming designers at the Xantha "A Queen's Walk" fashion show at the Martin Luther King Arts Complex. They are hoping to establish their own clothing lines -" Angel Baby" designs and "F.A.B." (Fabulous And Beautiful).
If you'd like to help them continue working towards their goals, please volunteer your sewing expertise and equipment for the fashion portion of the upcoming Find Your Voice event. We will start on the fashion projects in December with hopes of having them completed by the end of March. Contact Tifani Kendrick at tkendrick@mail.cosi.org or ext. 2554 to help out!

How many different outfits were featured at this show?
I was also wondering how long does it take most runway models to change outfits and be ready for their next appearance?
